If the video isn’t loading for some reason, just try waiting a little bit for it to load. If that doesn’t work, see about getting the latest version of flash. If that still doesn’t work, try pressing the actual start button on the video.

Don’t worry if you don’t understand the joke. The only people who will probably get it are those who are computer experts (why I have made an animation for such a limited audience, is beyond me). But for those of you who want to understand the concept behind this animation, read on, and all will be revealed.

Basically the animation is about me correcting all of the inconsistencies with the advertisement it is parodying. For example, all Macs are PC’s but not all PC’s are Macs. The computer you’re using right now is likely to be an IBM clone, which is a clone of an IBM computer. (Think of other companies making Macs that aren’t Apple.)

The Amiga is just another computer that appeared at roughly the same time as The Mac and The IBM, as well as many other computers (most of which are dead now). The Amiga, although old and long since abandoned by its creators is still somehow alive. It has its own modern operating system, and a company has recently released a brand new Amiga computer. Unfortunately, if a Mac costs the same as ten IBM clones, then a modern Amiga costs ten Macs.

The last part of the joke is just me actually comparing the Macs to the IBM clones. I’ve related the common arguments that are usually given, with me stating the obviously comebacks. Of course, Macs have a much greater resolution, but seriously, does it really matter. Then again, whether you use a Mac, an IBM clone, an Amiga, or a completely different computer, I don’t really care. Your choice is your choice, and quite frankly, a computer is just a computer.

Now for those of you who are wondering about how long it took me, well, I’ve been working on this animation for three days. The logo was lovingly made by my sister :iconerkillers: who has uploaded the full (watermarked) logo here. The song at the end is just me relating La Bamba using the word “Doo” with an increased pitch. I can’t make music, so I thought the second best thing was to just act stupid and sing something. There’s nothing special at the end, so you don’t have to listen all the way through.

I hope you enjoy this animation, and sorry for the obscure jokes. If you don’t really care for learning the reason about the jokes, then please, just enjoy the funny, non-sensical animation that I’ve made.

EDIT:
Since Flash is dead and DA is unlikely to ever implement Ruffle, I've changed the preview image to a comicified version of the original Flash animation. You can still download it if you want to watch the original animation.
